A Top 20 Private Equity Firm’s Return to Work Journey



One of ReturnSafe’s customers, a top 20 private equity firm, has been planning a return to work program since August 2020. To reopen successfully they needed a simple customizable solution to satisfy local requirements and ease employee concerns. Initially planning for employees to return to the office in January, they signed on with ReturnSafe’s infectious disease platform in September. Due to changing restrictions they decided to open their New York and Connecticut offices to a few employees the first week of April 2021.


Ensuring ease of use of compliance

When evaluating return to work solutions, the firm had to ensure they met New York and Connecticut’s reopening guidelines. The Human Resources team had two priorities for their solution.

First, they needed a user-friendly technology based solution for daily health attestation. Although they knew this process could potentially be managed via surveys and spreadsheets, they wanted a scalable solution that was easy to use and optimized employee compliance.

Second, they needed to partner with a solution that could help them conduct contact tracing and manage follow-up in the event of COVID-19 exposure.

Implementing Vaccine Management


Although the firm’s offices are open, they only have a few folks reporting to work currently. Post-labor day they are planning to have a critical mass of people back to the office. They are going to use ReturnSafe’s Vaccine Management feature to keep track of employee vaccination status (provided voluntarily). Their Human Resources team is eager to use the feature to help guide and enhance their return to work program.
